About Me.
Always an Artist
My name is Elizabeth, but I also go by El!
I've been creating since I was a young girl and have only continued to grow and experience new mediums as I've gotten older and advanced my technical abilities. I love creating for people and through tattooing have found an adoration for making people feel comfortable in their bodies.
The support I had growing up from my immediate family and friends helped me pursue my dreams for art and follow a path that gave me purpose!

Education
After graduating Ames High School, I attended Kirkwood Community College for my Associates in Liberal Arts; then went on to get my Bachelor of Art History online through the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA.
Since then, my involvement in the education field has allowed me to stay connected and be a part of the Kirkwood Community College Council to help develop the first Arts Degree for a community college!

During my 9.5 years at Mystic Tat2, I worked as a Lead Tattoo Artist and Mentor, as well as handled the studio's management. I learned so much during my time here and will always savor the amazing clientele and friends I gained! But Iowa wasn't the right place for me, so with a heavy heart I decided to move on and search out where I wanted to be...
After doing some guesting at various studios, I fell in love with the Minneapolis area and decided to move to MinneSnowTa!

Currently, I work for Sacred Siren Tattoo & Art Parlor and am thrilled to be working with the owner Mike in a professional and safe work environment to create tattoos for years to come! I am excited to gain new and amazing clientele, and perhaps one day follow my dream of traveling the country while tattooing.
